Madrid & Barcelona, Spain

Madrid-Spain-Courtney-Tompson-Travel-Photography — Spain—Finally we meet. I’ve been dreaming about visiting Spain for over 10 years and finally it fit into the cards. I don’t have a lot to say about Madrid & Barcelona (I was on a slight photo break during these two cities) but I’ll make up for it in my next post about Seville.

Madrid
When visiting Madrid please make it a point to stop at San Gines for chocolate & churros and then grab a calamari sandwich at Bar La Ideal at plaza mayor.

Barcelona
Take the hour long train & hike Montserrat. I booked with a guide through Airbnb and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. You can, of course hike on your own or opt for no hiking and take a tram to the top.
